SAMA FLOW

ALL LEVELS

This class provides an excellent opportunity to enhance both strength and flexibility. Each student will practice various postures through a series of flows, linking body movements to the breath and fostering total body awareness. Ideal for those ready to move beyond the basics, this class offers more dynamic movements while developing flexibility through flowing sequences. If you want to work on feeling more balanced in both strength & flexibility this class is for you!

ROCKET VINYASA

Rocket Vinyasa Yoga, also known as 'The Rocket', is a style of yoga developed by Larry Schultz in San Francisco during the 1980s. Rocket Yoga is rooted in the practice of Ashtanga Vinyasa and we follow sequences that build strength and intertwined with arm balancing and fun transitions.  One of the key concept of Rocket is repetition and only when you keep repeating, you will find success.  Students looking to advance their physical yoga practice will be given new postures to work with and beginners will be given modifications.  This class is for anybody who likes be challenged, wants to improve flexibility and wants to feel refreshed.  If you're looking for more movement in your yoga practice, this class is for you!

SLOW FLOW & MEDITATION

Start your morning with mindfulness and movement as you move through a meditative practice while maintaining a gentle rhythm of movement and breath.   This class will begin in stillness as you set an intention that will set the tone and carry you through your day with a positive mindset.  This class will focus on moving slower while holding poses a little longer to create a sense of grounding while strengthening the body and mind.  Give yourself the gift of balance and reflection in your practice and set yourself up for success before you start your day!  

BEGINNER FRIENDLY

-Great starting point for beginners
-Good for those that want a slower pace
-Beneficial to learn how to modify poses for your body
-Great for those wanting to understand alignment
-Beneficial for anyone wanting to develop a balanced body & mind

STRENGTHEN & STRETCH

This class is designed for every body!  It includes a comprehensive mix of mobility work and exploration of each joint’s range of motion, from your cervical spine down to your ankles.  Mild passive stretches are intermixed to give the body and mind a reset and to deeply nourish the nervous system.

 If you want to expand your active ranges of motion, improve joint health and this is definitely the class for you!

ROLL + RESTORE

This class is 50% roll and 50% restore  We start by using a variety of myofascial release exercises coupled with self- care movements in an effort to release tension, enhance breathing, and improve posture and performance.  We will settle into restorative postures to end in an effort to completely relax the body and mind and balance the nervous system.  This class is perfect for athletes and those needing to recover from strength based programs or  the daily routines of life.

-Beneficial for athletes needing to recover

-Improves mobility & range of motion

RESTORATIVE

This class is set in a soothing candle lit environment and will focus on poses that promote relaxation and restoration through the use of props including bolsters, blocks, straps, sandbags and blankets.  Restorative Yoga helps to relieve the effects of chronic stress through deep relaxation by way of floor poses that are held anywhere between 5-15 minutes.  This class is great for anyone seeking balance and relaxation from a busy lifestyle and for those looking for those looking to unwind and restore.

-Great alternative to meditation

FLOW to YIN

This class is a fusion of Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga.  It combines the qualities of a dynamic flowing yoga sequence with the calming benefits of a restorative practice.

Classes begin with a slow & intentional sequence of poses to move energy & open the body gently while staying connected to the breath. The flow then transitions into stillness, as we work with passive postures with longer holds. These yin-style poses will help to release the connective tissues which can help to increase circulation and overall tightness.  This class aims to promote a sense of balance and will leave you feeling very peaceful and relaxed.

-Beneficial for athletic recovery
-Perfect for those wanting a slower practice

YIN

In this class we will focus on postures that help lengthen the muscles surrounding the hips, pelvis, and lower back.  We will work inside holding mainly floor based postures anywhere ranging from 3-10 minutes per side in an effort to lengthen the connective tissue that surrounds the joints and increase its elasticity.   We will use the assistance of props and attention on our breath to support us in each pose and to help facilitate full surrender and to help calm our nervous system.  

If you need to slow down, relax and stretch this class is for you!

-Helps to releases fascia and joint mobility
-Aids in decreasing stress & anxiety
